    3. Pam, Wilford's WWI Draft Registration Card shows he's still will Etta in Sept. 1918. The 1920 census shows Wilfred is married but Etta is not in the household. The 1910 census shows Dolly had been married 3 times. Wilfred was #3. The following seems to be #2 1900 Elk Prairie Township, Jefferson Co., IL 6-13-1900, pg. 56A John F. Shelton, b. 2-1871 (age 29), md. 10 yrs., IL IL IL, farmer, owns a mortgaged farm Ollie Shelton, b. 7-1871 (age 28), 2 children/ 2 alive, IL IL IL Winfred Shelton, b. 8-1890 (age 9), IL IL IL Cole Shelton, b. 6-1894, (age 5), IL IL IL John Shelton md. Dolly Smith, 5-26-1890, Pike Co., IL, pg. 252, license #1019 Cole would be the 18 yr. old that died in W. Dover's home in 1913. Apparently Winfred died pre-1910 because that census shows Dolly had 4 children / 3 alive. Haven't located a Bentley / Smith marriage.
