    3. I sent this the first time in rich text so am not sure it will go through. Thought I would try again. I am going to seperate what papers I have and post all they contain seperatly to the list by the way. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sharon Dover Romanek To: DOVER-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, November 14, 2005 6:27 PM Subject: NC Dover Civil War Records I have been working on something and thought I would post what I have to the list in case there are others interested in it. I am happy to scan and send copies to anyone on the list who wants it VIA e-mail. Just let me know what you want. What I have are copies of all records I found on the below. There were only two Dover pension records for the whole state. All of the rest were Muster Roll documents with exception of one hand written paper on Riley Dover that I have not yet been able to transcribe. It is in BAD shape so I am going to have to be creative, scan it, turn it to a negative and see if that helps me to be able to read it better. Source: NC Civil War Military Records Roll 315 Andrew E. 3. Hi Sharon. Thanks for your hard work in research. I am interested in seeing more information of what you have on a couple of the names you have since all my Dover ancestry are from NC. I have the muster roll information on William--he is up my line as far as I have been able to find. There could be a couple of his kids who joined or were mustered in during the war. So, if wouldn't mind please send more information on William, William F., John, J. H., James and Andrew Dover unless you have them all packaged in one file then that would be find too to cross check some other possible relatives. I am soon getting to the age that I can retire and devote more time in this fascinating hobby and pass it all on to all my living relatives. Thanks Again, Mike Dover -----Original Message----- From: Sharon Dover Romanek [mailto:sromanek@salisbury.net] Sent: Monday, November 14, 2005 3:36 PM To: DOVER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Dover] Fw: NC Dover Civil War Records I sent this the first time in rich text so am not sure it will go through.
