    3. There is hope. Jeptha Dover from Buncombe does have living male descendants as late as 1930. His grandson Belt Doner is in Fannin County, GA. He was Anderson Levi Belton Dover and Mary Ann Debord's son and Belton has two sons named William D. and Floyd. Hope as in DNA to support the 1830 Buncombe census theory of four brothers living side by side. http://content.ancestry.com/Browse/view.aspx?dbid=6224&path=Georgia. Fannin.Caldwell.4.8&cr=1

    3. Think my hunch about Jeptha being the great grandfather is incorrect. Problem with the year of birth (14 Feb 1884) for Belt (Belton)(David B)(David Belton Dover). There's a photo Willie D. Dover http://www.cemeterysurveysinc.com/albums/FanninGA/NewCanaan/ Another Fannin Co., GA cemetery http://oldcemsurveys.mybigfamily.us/albums/FanninGA/Morganton/morgan ton5.html William's father Belton now has another given name David. They are found in the 1920 Harlan County, Kentucky census. David said his father was born in North Carolina. http://content.ancestry.com/Browse/view.aspx?dbid=6061&path=Kentucky .Harlan.Lynch.93.50&cr=1 There's some TN births in between 1910 and 1920 . -----Original Message----- From: Dennis Dover [mailto:ddover1793@earthlink.net] Sent: Saturday, July 30, 2005 9:33 PM To: DOVER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Dover] Belton Dover/Doner There is hope.
