    3. One interesting thing about William. He was in Galveston, Texas at one time with his father-in-law doing some contracting. I read recently after all the hurricanes that Galveston was almost wiped off the face of the earth in their big one many years ago. I remembered that this was about the same time that William and his father-in-law were there. They may have gone there after the hurricane. That hurricane came without warning and thousands? died. The devastation was unbelievable. -----Original Message----- From: Sharon Dover Romanek [mailto:sromanek@salisbury.net] Sent: Wednesday, February 08, 2006 3:49 PM To: DOVER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Dover] William Dover of Yorkville, SC Looking Backward T 11-14-44 Page 6 Chatta-nooga for many years, and at one time widely known as a contractor and builder, died twenty-five years ago at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Trimby Sr., on Oak Street.
