    3. Yes, that is true about Galveston Dennis. I recently saw a documentary on TV about that right before Louisiana got hit. It was wiped out! They got warning but the telegraph lines were down and some did not believe what they were seeing and thought it was a mistake. Sound familiar? Deceased was 90 years of age and a few days before the end he suffered a paralytic stroke. He was a native of South Carolina. He was born in Yorkville, S. C., August 23, 1828. His widow, Mrs. Mary Dover, survived him. His children, all residents of Chattanooga In 1919, were, W. E., George L., John E., Raymond Dover, and Mrs. Joseph Trimby Sr., Mrs. J. S.
