    3. Jeremy, That's them, also a son named Earl D. Dover 8 years old born in AR. Dolly was born in AL as was her father. Mother was born TN. Pam, I downloaded the census page and can attach it if you don't have the Ancestry.com access. Let me know. Good going Jeremy. Paragould wasn't and still isn't that big a city. I'll try and see if I can find the street and see how close they were living to them other Dover's. 2. Dennis Dover
    3. The 1900 Washington Township of Monroe County, Indiana census shows Wilford A. Dover single b Mar 1875 living with his half brother James M. Polly b Apr 1859. Can't find a thing in 1910 showing James or his father. One of my great grandfather's sisters married Dudley Benjamin Bentley January 23, 1879 in Greene Co., AR. He appears to have been born in Alabama. Georgia Ann Dover then married a Dollahite four years later. For Pam, Jack and Earnest, I don't get commissions on DNA tests so believe me when I say those tests are priceless for the results. I could take a wild guess on Earnest's, have sort of a feeling about Pam and curious beyond belief about Jack. There's no way to describe the feeling about knowing you're not alone in the search for your ancestors and suddenly find descendants all around you even when or if the DNA proves things beyond research clues or hunches. Coincidences sometimes become fact at the same time, even in what seems to be congested areas in that small area of southeast Missouri and northeast Arkansas. I got a little stressed when it was suggested by someone that certain Dover DNA groups split off on their own. Dover-L IS the common ground whether DNA includes or excludes some Dover lines. My reaction was why split off when you don't know where you fit DNA wise. So many great people on this list who have helped "all" of us. I'll keep looking for 1910. 3. Earnest and Dennis, Charles Ancell and I have exchanged information and he probably sent me the sme history but at the moment. my computer problems have me limited , but one of these days I hope to get back into the genealogy. Charley's mother, Mary, is a daughter of Charles Eldridge Dover and Kathleen Druelinger and I think that she and I may be the only two remaining grandchildren of the original 19. Charles E. was one of my Dad's brothers so Mary and I are first cousins. There were five boys and three girls, but all are now gone. My grandfather was the station agent at Sikeston and my father, who was the oldest, told me he used to go down and start the stove and sweep out the station for his father in the morning. Dad became a telegrapher and my mother would take over the key at night so he could get a nap on the mail bags. I have a picture of him during watermelon season when he was a station agent, but I can't read the name of the station. it might have been Potosi, but I'm not sure. I remember Mom telling me they had a room in a boarding house and during the watermelon season, Dad would not get home until late at night, when he would turn on the light, which was a single bare buld hanging on its wire in the middle of the room and then stri[p naked to try to pick off the fleas. the farmers would eat some of their melons while waiting to unload their wagons and throw the rinds on the ground which would attract the hogs that had fleas, of course. Dad, eventually, got a job with the Deleware and Hudson Co. at their headquarters in Albany, ny and when they moved to NYC the family moved to Brooklyn, NYand then later to NJ. Dad was the Asst. Treasurer when he retired.- And now back to my computer problems.
