I found someone on my Tenn list who had the three volumes of the Arkansas Death Index who made copies and mailed them to me. Hope there is something here that someone can use. This is the last of the Georgia Dover entries on rootsweb that I found. There were 45 of them, but not all were surnames. Some were locations. I have now done Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama, as far as what is currently posted to rootsweb. I am sure soon there will be new items on line, as the information gets entered. Three of these marriages are children of William Dover and Alanthey Chambers: Sarah and Jane Dover married Elrod brothers; Hulda, the next-to-the youngest daughter, married Marlin Bell, a man who was considerably older than she was and whose first wife was also named Hulda.
Terry, Try going to the link, I enclosed to look at this. If I remember right, it pasted a little weird. I think it should have read: Dever- See Dover and then the Dillinger was below that line. Melba, In answer to your question, this is not the same person as Francis Marion Dover/Mary Bailey. The Francis M. referred to in the Lumpkin records is the son of William Dover/Alantha Chambers. I am confused now, though. I'm seeing apparently the same son listed as Francis M. and Franklin M. in different records that I have. Can someone tell me which is correct? Thanks, Sharon Sukiennik
