    3. Marjorie. Thanks for the note. I do not have a John Luther in my notes for William & Althana. Can you tell me his dates please and your source? I have a Lafayette as the closest I have in that family to a Luther name. I do have a William F. though. I went back and looked at the link I sent to the list again to find the time frame thinking it may help me figure out some things and noticed it lists three different initial sets.I had not noticed that at first. I am not sure if one is a transposition or if the JP and JL are one and the same person. This is confusing me although that is not that hard to do. Thanks again. 3. As some of you might recall, my DNA matches perfectly on the 12 marker test with Eric Dover who is a descendant of Francis Marion & Mary Bailey Dover. My Bailey Dover's first born, Caroline Malinda, married John Perry Phillips in Blount County whose parents were the next door neighbors of William & Fidellia Dover who I also match up with several descendants. I just found out from two descendants of Francis Marion Dover apparently not currently on the list that we share one known common link ... the same Phillips family that Caroline Malinda Dover married into. They know of John Perry Phillips. This Phillips family came from Union County, SC. I can't connect any of these dots.

Coincidentally, her name is also Marjorie Dover. My husband's Dover families are Theron & Elender Dover, who were parents of Earl William Dover from the Gilmer Co. GA census of 1860 in Cartecay, GA. The son, Earl first married ? and fathered two children, David Y. and a sister, Lauria who married D.E. Spriggs and she moved to Columbus, GA. David Y. m. Ada Parham grandparents of Dale and they are buried at Taylorsville, GA. The son, Earl William (called 'Will') by his families left a farm near Chatsworth GA and went to Oklahoma back in1883 or so. He left with C.M. Brierly, second wife. The Dover families were silent on the reason for this matter. The census list of the family of Theron and Elender Dover, Cinthia, Earl W., Mary E. and Lewis B. at the time of the census, would you know anything of this Dover family. Theron was in the Civil War, Flender signed for benefits in Cherokee Co. GA.
