    3. Do I have something mixed up on this family? I show two wives for William Allen Dover. I have one as Mollie Moore, and another as Mary "Mollie" Shults. Are they one and the same person? Does anyone know for sure? Also I show one son Lester and have him listed as the son of William and Mollie Shults. Is that correct? Anyone know who Donphlos? really is? The name is hard to read on the census. I would suspect since there are others in the family maybe Dolphus. Also does anyone know if he married etc? It is not possible to read his marital status on this census. There is an ink blob where the entry is. Also if there are two wives, which sons go with which wife? Thanks for the help. April 25----Mrs. Elizabeth Windham and W.A. Witnesses testified that they had been near the scene of the incident and that the shot was fired by a woman, not-withstanding the admission of Dover that he had fired the fatal shot in self-defense. WHEW!!!! I can't help but think this may be my Grand uncle due to the time period. Never heard this one before. Can't get my file to open right now to look and see. I also want to share with you that I really need your prayers this morning. I have always had a strong faith, although I may not have always lived as if I did and I am in a wonderful Bible study that is called Believing God, but this morning my faith is bruised and shaken. It is so hard to live in a world where right is not always right and wrong is not always wrong. It is hard to understand a judge who can ignore hard evidence of immoral behavior and shrug it off just because she is a woman. Pray that I will be strong in my faith and not let Satan have a victory out of this. Thanks to all of you and I hope that we will all share the needs that we have in our lives. God does hear and answer our prayers. Maybe not in our time-frame, but he always answers. In Beth Moore's book "Praying God's Word" she writes scripture prayers and I would like to close with one. Lord, I want to be like the one to whom you said, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." Flourish this kind of faith in me, God! Love in Christ, Trish P.S. Send me your prayer requests, big or small. _________________________________________________________________ What are the 5 hot job markets for 2004? 3. You may have noticed my name at the bottom of the 37 marker list. Unfortunately at present I have very little time to do any research. The oldest Dover ancestor of whom I am sure at present is William Dover who was born in 1854 in Cumbria. The 1881 census says that his place of birth was Keswick, the registers seem to indicate that it may have been the nearby town of Cockermouth. Anyway it may help some of you to link to my side of the family. Paul Dover Nottingham UK
