Mooney was born and raised in Iona, PEI. He married my grandmother - Veronica C. Doucette. She was French Canadian and was born about 1884 in Quebec or Prince Edward Island Island (I don't know which). The earliest info I can find on her is a 1910 US Census (listing her as married with one child and that she immigrated from Canada about 1906). A relative thought she was raised in a convent.
