His parents, Joseph Doucet/Doucette and Monique Lefebvre/Lefevre were married the 7th of October 1839. Joseph is the son of Joseph Doucet and Marguerite ?Martel. and Monique is the daughter of Charles Lefevre dit Descoteau et Marguerite ?Miville. and I do believe your line goes all the way back to Pierre Doucet and Henriette Pelletret in Port Royal, Nova Scotia.
