Anne Melcon, Anne Thibault, and Marie Giradeau. I have found records in Quebec of Etienne Doucette's marriage (son of Joseph Doucette and Marie Giradeau) and another, for Pierre Doucette, death/burial, same parents. I've found Joseph Doucette s/o Pierre and Francoise Dugas, marriage record, to Anne Thibault, 7 May, 1770, Yamachiche, Quebec, Canada. I've seen in some Acadian published genealogies, This same Joseph Doucettte married to Anne Melcon c. 1752, in Acadia, and they had at least 2 children born in Yamachiche, Quebec, Canada. Has ANYONE found any solid evidence of the third marriage to Marie Girideau documenting it was the same Joseph (son of Pierre and Francoise Dugas), or perhaps ANOTHER Joseph Doucette entirely. His grandparents, Patrick L. McCloskey and Juliet Doucette, were married and lived in Boston, Mass. but both were born in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Their marriage records list Theodoric Doucet and Veronique Buote as Juliet's parents. I found a 1901 Canada Census record showing Julitte with Theodore, Veronique, Jeremie, Fabiola and Theodore's mother. But can't find birth records or any other reference on Julitte as their daughter. I can't find them in the 1891 PEI Census either so it might be possible they lived elsewhere before returning to PEI. By any chance, do you have any records as to all Jeremie's siblings? I am looking for Ed, Edward, Ned Doucette and Mary Willett, Oulette. I did find death records that say they both died in Ashland, Maine and buried in Frenchville Catholic Cemetery in Ashland. Ed's record also said he was born May 1858 in Bathurst, NB. Doucetfamily.org lists them as well. I am looking for birth records, immigration, or siblings, or anything on his parents etc. I also plan to travel to NB this summer and wonder if I should go to Fredericton or Bathurst to search. In one family tree in Ancestry.com, the parents of George Gilbert Doucette (Florence H Martin's husband)are shown as Thomas B Doucette born abt 1868, and Pauline St Couer, born abt 1876. Is this correct? Further research of George G and Florence H Doucette in US City Directories shows that during 1937, 1938 and 1945, a John J and Lillian F Doucette were living with them in Malden Massachusetts. John Doucette and Lillian Doucette live in Lynn city in the 1940 US Census, but I am not sure where they fit in. Is John J Georges brother? Summing up,can you please confirm who the parents of George Gilbert Doucette were, and what relationship does John J and Lillian F Doucette have with George and Florence .
