They are a mystery really. Just odd that she says she's from Godmanstone and is married there with a witness who is clearly a relative and yet I can't find a Russel there at any time. Given her father is (or so she says) a Shepherd, I know Shepherds sometime had to travel about the county due to work so maybe it was just easier for her to say to census people she came from Godmanstone, where she married her husband, as this was the place she felt of as home even if maybe she wasn't born there after all. I may just be being a bit fanciful I suppose. I've tried on Family Search but no one stands out there either.
