Hello Listers I am researching the circumstances of the death of Joseph Redvers READ who died on the 1 September 1947 in Verwood when a tree he was attempting to cut down fell on him and crushed him to death. He is buried in Marnhull Church I expect that there may be an article abt this in the local papers in either Marnhull or Verwood. If sks has access to the library for that area I would appreciate a lookup around that date for any mention of this death. Regards John Manchester
