She is shown as born in Corfe, as is her 23 year old ag lab married brother who she is visiting (Class: RG9; Piece: 1347; Folio: 38; Page: 19). I guess this could be Corfe Castle or Corfe Mullen. Neither are particularly close to Godmanstone, of course. John's wife is Ann, they may have married in 1859, if so her surname could be Rose. It may be worth looking at their marriage certificate, in the hope that John's father is also John and perhaps a shepherd. I've so far been unable to track John or Amy in 1851 or 1841 though.
