    3. Hi Folks, I have a huge vote of thanks for both Vanessa Marshall and Glenys Jenningsl, who have researched the family of my James Richard Roper, in the 1911 census and thereafter. Thanks to them, I am now able to document this family well into the 20th century. I would like to curtail all future work on this enquiry of mine by List researchers. Best wishes. Peter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Ferreira" <peterferreira@rogers.com> To: <DORSET-L@rootsweb.com>; "ROPER List" <ROPER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2010 9:20 AM Subject: [DOR] James Richard ROPER (1857 - >1901) > Can some kind soul please let me know whatever became of my cousin, James > Richard ROPER, farm bailiff, farmer and dairyman, of Dorset and Somerset, > and what became of his children. > > James Richard ROPER, baptized on Feb 10, 1857 in Whitechurch Canonicorum. > In Q4 of 1881, in Chard district (BMD ref: 5c / 725), he married Mary > Harriette TURNER.
