The only Joseph Lucas I can find on IGI born about this time in Dorset is Joseph Legge Lucas baptised Alfpuddle Dorset in 1802. I don't think this is anywhere near Corfe Castle and I've not seen Legge in his name, so I'm assuming he's not mine. I wondered if anyone with access to Baptism records for Corfe Castle (or possibly Church Knowle) in Dorset could look to see whether there is a baptism of a Joseph Lucas. My Joseph Lucas married Mary Ann Bennett in 1832. Their children were Maria, Elizabeth, Sarah, William, John and Joseph Lucas. On a more general note, can anyone tell me how I can find out which parishes have records on IGI?
