I am a new member of the list and I would like to find out more information on the following families. William Spicer married Hannah Clavell on the 27th May 1751 at Winfrith Newburgh, Dorset. William Spicer was born approx 1730, somewhere in Dorset. I would like to find out more about William Spicer, where he originated from, and where he was baptised. William was my Great x 4 Grandfather. Hannah Clavell was born approx 1734, in Winfrith Newburgh, the daughter of William Clavell and Mary Slade. I understand that the Clavell's were prominent land owners in the area, dating back to the Norman Conquests. William Spicer's son, also William Spicer, born approx January 1754, in Winfrith Newburgh, married Margaret Cull on the 16th May 1780, at East Lulworth. Margaret Cull's parents were John Cull and Honour Clavell. I would also like to find out more about the Cull family.
