The November meeting of the Blackmore Vale Group of the SDFHS is Thursday 11th November in the Exchange Sturminster Newton at 7 30 pm. The theme is "We will Remember Them" several members have been researching their local War Memorials and we are being loaned the British Legion book for Marnhull. Over 200 photos are on display courtesy of the Western Gazette of the "Roll of Honour" they published in 1915 and 1917 A Powerpoint presentation will show those from the Blackmore Vale area which include Killed ,wounded and awards from Victoria Cross to Military Medals.
