Hi If Saunders was imprisoned, don't forget to look at the Dorchester gaol records - these are also at Dorset History Centre but I haven't checked if they have records covering 1817 (their catalogue will tell you). Usually prison calendars state age, date of release, sometimes a description. Mark @ Yetminster
