I am re-visiting my Spicer ancestors in Dorset and I am trying to find the birth and baptism record of Stephen Spicer born circa 1800 at Winfrith Newburgh, died,circa 1882 at Preston and was buried on the 9th March 1882 at Preston, Dorset. In the 1841 to 1871 census Stephen was living and working as a master carpenter in Osmington, but stated that he was born in Winfrith Newburgh. Can anyone help with his baptism record in Winfrith Newburgh, I have searched all the available records, to no avail. Am I missing something. Thank you for any help that you can offer.
