This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: targaff Surnames: Classification: census Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.england.dor.general/6242/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I was looking at the 1871 census for Bere Regis and there seem to be some pages missing in the District 3 set. Specifically, pages 4, 9, 13, 16, 19, 23, 27 and 30 don't appear to be there. I thought they might relate to properties that fell within District 4, but I didn't see them there either. Am I overlooking something? I'm not massively familiar with that particular census, so there may be some reasonable explanation, but from the sequential property count I'd make that about 40 properties within that district for which there is no image. It's R.G. 10/1997, incidentally. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
