Hi Can anyone confirm a marriage between Jane Jeanes and Jethro Bazle. I am 99% sure that it happened but can't find it ... Jane was born c1796 in Wootton Glanville (daughter of Nathaniel and Betty); she had several illegitimate children in Buckland Newton -- Elinor 1820, Mary Ann Miller 1824, Anne 1826 baptised in WG; then Louisa 1829-1834, Jethro Bazle 1832-1850 She then seems to have "married" Jethro Bazle (b1813 Buckland Newton-d1838); they had a further 3 children, Frederick 1835, Hezekiah 1836, James 1838-1838. I have found the family in 1841 with Jane, Jethro jnr, Frederick, Hezekiah Bazle, together with Mary Jeanes (some difficult writing and some strange transcriptions but eventually I got there!) I've looked on opcdorset in Wootton Glanville and Buckland Newton for the marriage, and searched in Ancestry but no luck, Christel
