Hi, I have had a closer look at the Swanage register and find that John and Jane had four children Tmothy 1772, George 1773, Charles 1775, all called in the register Haysham, but the fourth child Martin 1777 was called Haysom, there is a 10 year period in the register when the name Haysham is used instead of Haysom. Jane Phippard a widow married John Haysom 9/4/1771 Swanage, her maiden name was Bower, her first husband Samuel Phippard drowned with his brother at Winspit point. she originally came from Langton Matravers Dorset.
