    3. Has anyone ever heard of a place called New Louen near/in/around Poole? I'm trying to make the Newfoundland/England connection for one of my ancestors, Henry Wellman, who is on parish record (Newfoundland) as having been born in New Louen, Poole, England, in 1850. Thank you! Vicki

    3. Hello Vicki Could it be a misreading of Newtown? That's about halfway between Poole and Bournemouth according to my map. What is your source?
