Hi list, Is there anyone on the list who knows Mapperton (by Beaminster) who could explain where MYTHE is or was. >From the early census returns this address is given to a small group of abodes which I would guess were labourers' cottages in the parish of Mapperton. I have looked at Google Earth and can't locate anything which looks likely. If you look at the ordnance survey view for Mapperton on Bing Maps you will see Mythe Hill is the area immediately south-west of the village.
