    3. Hi Christel, Had a quick look for your Ettie BOWRING My first thought was that it might be Harriet / Harriett - but I couldn't find anything, however I came across this (might be worth checking out?) Roxetta Mary BOWRING - Dec 1/4 1888 Dorchester District GRO Ref: 5a - 317 I know the birthyear is a few years earlier than you were looking but thought the name was unusual and I could see how it might be shortened to Etta / Ettie. I can't find Roxetta / Rosetta on the 1891 or 1901 census'. Is Ettie on the 1911 census - I can't find her doing a free search? It appears that Rosetta (sic) Mary BOWRING married in 1910. 3. Dear Vanessa Thank you for your message. I had considered Harriets as well, forgot to mention that! 3. ok, SORRY, I have no idea how I managed to send that last message! Dear Vanessa thank you for your email. I had also considered Harriet as a source for Ettie, but no luck, sorry I hadn't mentioned that in my original message. Also had no luck searching for Ettie in 1911, she certainly doesn't seem to be with her father William (who seems to be living with her sister Emily). I don't think that Roxetta/Rosetta is the one either, I found her in 1901 as Rosetta M Bowering, born Martinstown. Also, as you say she is slightly too old. The Edith Millicent that I suggested would seem to be the daughter of Charles ... and Matilda Alice dies age 4 ... So, I am still stuck ... never mind!
