My 8th Great Grand Father, Roger Morey, immigrated to America in 1628 aboard the Abigail which sailed from Weymouth, June 20th. He was born 18 May 1610, Drimpton, Broadwinsor Parish, Dorset. He apparently returned to England, probably the Isle of Wight, and then immigrated again in 1630 aboard one of the ships of the Winthrop Fleet, which sailed from Yarmouth. Much of what I have set forth can be verified by various sources.
