    3. Hello Diane, I can find anything to help with Benjamin's father. It is reasonably to assume that Benjamin died prior to 1841, there is no record on freeBMD for a Benjamin between 1837-1841, so again his death must be prior to September quarter of 1837. 1841 census has At Longfleet Poole Longfleet Road; Thomas MARGRIE; 30; Flax Dresser; Y; HO287-05 D10P23 Longfleet Road; Elizabeth MARGRIE; 35; ; Y; HO287-05 D10P23 Longfleet Road; Alfred MARGRIE; 12; Shoemakers App; Y; HO287-05 D10P23 Longfleet Road; Benjamin MARGRIE; 6; ; Y; HO287-05 D10P23 Longfleet Road; Elizabeth MARGRIE; 60; T***** Spinner?; Y; HO287-05 D10P23 Probably same family as in 1851 census, but with Thomas' mother in this household. 1851 census Bridport, piece 1861, 293 East Street MARGRIE, Thomas 43, Head, b1808 Bridport, Hemp & Flax Heckler. MARGRIE, Betty 50, wife, b1801 Bridport, Twine spinner MARGRIE, Benjamin 16, son, b1835 Poole, MARGRIE, John 9, son, b1842 Poole.
