Just another note - George appears to be in Albany, NY in the 1880 census. Familysearch has this census free and I see a George born 1855 England with wife Ellen - there is a strange entry for a 'daughter' but I suspect this relates to the actual head of household a James McBRIDE (this does not show on the Familysearch entry but is the 'previous household').
