Hi all, Thank you for your helpful replies. I have since realised that my ancestor would have been in early pregnancy when they moved to Bath and they were actually living in Blandford Forum and not Poole at this time so they might have taken a coach from Blandford to Bath instead. How much would it cost to travel by coach as my ancestors would not have had a lot of money at this time. Alternatively, there is a mail carrier which travelled from Blandford to Bath daily but would this have taken passengers as well? Kind regards Michelle Connolly
