And , though living in the North of France, I created a group in Cotentin (genehougue-valdesaire) where my father was born.We often help people to find their roots in Normandy. And I often get very special questions.This week when Julien asked me how to get an act from 1820 in London, at first I didn't know what to tell him. Then I had the idea to ask the question to my two Bristish groups. And I must say it was a real success. Very very rapidly I had not only the answer but copy of the act as well . Isn't if marvellous. So I must send very warm thanks and congratulations to all those who answered : Ellen, Eddie, Duncan, Royston,Bob, , Jonathan... I hope I forget nobody. Bonjour Jean-Marie, There doesn't appear to be a place named HUNAWICKE in the UK, but there is a village in County Durham named HUNWICK - (actually two villages - Hunwick & New Hunwick joined together) - could this be what you are searching for? Otherwise there is a town on the Scottish borders caleed HAWICK.
