    3. Hello list I am not sure whether Christel is still on the list - I came across this message through googling "Jonathan Dalliber". I have just obtained the will of a Jonathan Dalliber of Chardstock whom I believe to be an ancestor. The will was proved in 1767 and names one of his sons as being also called Jonathan, so this may or may not be the Jonathan who married Anne Bartlett in Melbury Bubb in 1778. I believe my own line is through Jonathan senior's daughter Mary who married a John Bond in Chardstock in 1757. It would seem that Jonathan senior moved to Chardstock from who knows where around 1745 (Deborah daughter of Jonathan and Jone [Joan] was christened in Chardstock in 1745 but none of their other children seem to have been baptised there). 3. Dear Peter Thank you for your message, which is very interesting. I am not directly related to the Dalliber family, just got to them wandering aimlessly along a branch of my tree. I have not got any further in the family as yet, and have no idea where Jonathan was born. But perhaps he is the son of your Jonathan. Good luck.
