Whilst transcribing some family details last week I saw that, in the mid-19th century, they lived in The Buildings. No other details re location etc were given eg Tophill or Underhill (pronounced Undrill by Portlanders). Does anyone know just where The Buildings were situated, please? And anything more about them.
