His name was John Caines and he was born about 1800 unsure of place of birth, he married Mary Stroud in 1827 in Fordington,it states that John Caines was from the parish of Winterbourne Abass but don't know if he was born there. He had three children with Mary Stroud, Sarah Rebecca, Elizabeth and Jane. John died before the 1851 census so have been unable to find any more info on him.
