I am trying to learn about my grandfather. FREDERICK GEORGE ARCHER. I am thinking that he may have come from the Dorset area. He was in the British Army prior to WWI. I believe he was in the Dorset Regiment. Prior to marrying my grandmother he was stationed in the Soldiers Home in Belfast Ireland as he was either injured or became ill. I have learned he was possibly stations at one time in India. I have not childhood info on him. I do know he came to the United States between 1924 and 1930 or later.
