Many people used a neighbouring parish church if it was more convenient to where they actually lived or sometimes if they had a falling-out with the parish vicar they took their business elsewhere. Our OPC records are not as extensive for Spetisbury but there are a couple of Stevens' baptisms (Charles & Eliza in 1819/1823) and several marriages.
