Hi Anna I've latched onto a different spelling of the name but I do have Joseph Deamen alias Triggs and his son William in my tree. I am not a direct descendant (I have a 1st cousin 5x removed and her brother-in-law married a Deamen/Damen/Damon). Despite the tenuous link I do have some info. and am happy to share if you let me know what you are looking for! Peter Whilst I have connections to the Piddle Vallet, I am sorry I cannot help with this particular line, but do you have any Wiltshire or Gloucestershire connections? Have 5 Generations of MAYO commencing with a birth in CRUDWELL Wiltshire in 1802. Other names include BEAZER, PULLEN, BLAKE and others. Hi Jim, Very nice to hear from you. My Mayo ancestors go all the way back to the late 1600s, in Frome St. Quintin, Dorset. Most of my traced Mayo descendancy lines remained in Dorset. But, yes, I do have some traced Mayo males who moved to Wiltshire, Wales and elsewhere. I was born in Wilts. Then there are oodles of Mayo males who moved away from Dorset, so far untraced. I have not found any connection with the published line of the Revd. Charles Herbert Mayo. If you were to let me have the full name and dates of your oldest Mayo ancestor, I might be able to check him out. Alternatively, I would be happy to exchange with you, off list, details of our Mayo lines, say pre-1800. The search always continues . . . . . . . Best wishes. Peter Ferreira Toronto, Canada.
