Dave, I've posted on several of your messages. I'm through the Crabapple Georgia line where James Dorris and Nancy Cook, Jasper Newton Dorris and Francis are all buried. My grandmother Onnie Dorris Dempsey passed away this week at the age of 97, so I have alot of the family history straight from Jasper's grandchild. I'll be happy to fill you in on what I know. As far as the multi ways to say it and spell it, I'd say Ireland and Holland are the points where things are somehow mixed together. I bet one day someone will have enough of this family mapped out to figure out the answers to the questions. Maybe that someone will answer this posting.
