I've never heard that. I got a lot of my info from www.my-ged.com/db/index/edwards/802. There is info on over 150 Dorris' there. Some of it is extensive a lot of it is skimpy. You seem to have most of the info on John. He was the middle son, and James was the youngest. Their birthdates are there. I have most of it in textual form and have just completed a web page with the info represented graphically. I'd have to get you a password for that if you want it but that's easy. I have the line (with a lot of help from others) traced down through my grandfathers generation. It's not complete but it's fairly thorough, at least through my line.
