Rawlings at the parsonage of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, South, Christmas morning. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Law, sister and brother-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Sigars carried lilies of the valley. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J A Dorris, at Royal Heights. Mr and Mrs Sigars left Monday evening to visit relatives in the South. Mr Sigars is the son of Mr. and Mrs J C Sigars of 324 North Mineral Street and local representative of the Cudahy Packing company. Joplin Morning Tribune Dec 31, 1911 Miss Ethel Lola Dorris and Ira Edwin Sigars were married at the parsonage of the Methodist Episcopal Church Christmas day by Rev J C Rawlings. Mr and Mrs Oscar Law were the attendants. Mrs Sigars is the daughter of Mr and Mrs J A Dorris of Royal Heights. Mr Sigars is the son of Mr. and Mrs J T Sigars of 324 Mineral street and is the local representative of the Cudahy Packing Company. After the ceremony, the party dines at the home of the bride.
