He is indeed buried in the Confederate cemetery in Franklin. However, someone spelled his name wrong on the tombstone, and they have him listed as Wesley Smith Norris. But check the records they have on him and his service in the regimen. Everything is identical to Wesley Smith Dorris. But after asking them what it would take to get the name corrected, it seemed like way more trouble than it was worth. Maybe someone will take this project on. It should be done.
