I couldn't tell you exactly where it was if my life depended on it. But it's there and I talked to the people in charge of the cemetery about what would have to be done to get the engraving on the tombstone changed. My family has Wesley's diary where he made entries during his stint in the Confederate army and he talks being in Franklin. But Wesley's diary cuts off a day or two before the battle. But the 'powers that be' at the cemetery wanted something like an entry in the diary from the day of the battle, plus military records, plus a dozen other things. I was young with a new family, a job and not much time or money. It just wasn't worth it. Anyway, thanks for your interest.
