I am looking for information on William E. L. Dorris b. 1838 either GA or AL who married Caroline M. Brogdon/en b. 1840 in Putnam Co., GA. They married 16 Sep 1861 in Elmore Co., Alabama. I beleive that he is related to James Dorris who died in Tallapoosa Co., AL and Helen his wife. James and Helen's daughter Frances A. J. Dorris md. 1st Joseph Lyons and 2nd Peterson G. Brogdon. If anyone has any information on this family, I would appreciate any information I can get. William and Caroline disappeared from Elmore Co. and I have not been able to trace them. Li Ann Lee
