William is believed to be William H Dorris. William H Dorris died 1-20-1930 in Hopkins Ky. He was either working for a company called North Diamond or maybe that was the mine's name. William married Katie Wilcox (or Katherine). Williams son Feldon (or Felton) married one of three sisters, Vida. Vida's two sisters are Elizabeth and Exee (probably a nickname). I don't know there maiden name. Elizabeth married Dewell Pyle. I am told Vida is still living and stays with her daughter Carol Sue. I know some more from William down and would like to share. Any information would be gretly appreciated. My e-mail is ddorris@bellsouth.com

Subscribers are reminded that virus alerts are strictly OFF TOPIC for this list. The sole exception is if *YOU* are *CONFIRMED* to be infected you may send a short message to the list warning of that. If a subscriber informs the list of a *CONFIRMED* infection, then from that point on all correspondence should be PRIVATE, that is, should be sent to the infected address or to the list admin (me). UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should a reply concerning a virus warning be sent to the list. Period. All subscribers are strongly urged to keep their anti-virus protection, both the program version and the data files, as up to date as possible. If you don't have an anti-virus program running, there is a free one that you can use. The link to it is: http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.html Please direct further correspondence to me (or, as mentioned, the infected address -- but that subscriber is probably busy enough). Hi everyone, I just adopted this list and I wanted to introduce myself to you. My name is Debbie Woolard, and I am the administrator of 6 mailing lists on Rootsweb.com. Four of the lists are surname lists, one is for the genealogical society I belong to, and the other one is for the Eudora Email Software. Do not post virus warnings, test messages, chain letters or political announcements. Please be courteous to other members. No rude comments or flaming will be allowed on this list.
