My great grandfather was John Donovan. He was born on 24 June 1852 and at one time lived in Imlay Canada. Could this be the same John Donovan? He moved to Cheboygan, Michigan sometime around the 1880's and married Bertha Schmidt. Their children are: Elizabeth Donovan (from John's first marriage - his first wife died at a young age - I do not have much info on her).
