I am at a brick wall with my Donovan line. Hope someone finds this familiar. John Donovan, b. Ireland settled in Jonesport, Washington Cty., Maine in 1790. m. Anna Hicks MacDonald b. abt. 1770 d. aft. 1802. They had a number of children but the only one I have listed in front of me is Thomas, m. Elizabeth Atchison. They had Leonard Magee Donovan. Does anyone have a Washington County tie in? I don't know when John came to Maine or if he came to Canada first, which is my suspicion. Nor do I know his parents.
