I have a William James Donaldson who was Judge of the court King's bench Manitoba. Born in Lansdowne, Leeds County, Ontario. Mr. Justice Donavan received his early education at Athena high school and Brockville collegiate. William was a person friend of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, former prime minister of Canada. He married Margaret Ullman / Allman in 1907. Had two sons - Daniel James and John E. both of Toronto. Three daughters ; Mrs. H.B. Porteous of Montreal,, Mrs R.B. Phillips of Vancouver, Mrs. C.H. Scott of Winnipeg. I believe this Margaret Ullman is related to my Margaret "Alice" Ullman born 1850 Bytown (Ottawa, Ontario). Daughter of Thomas Ulman born 1820 and Rhoda Keeler.
