Hi All, My Donovan / ODonovan / Donoviel came fron England to US in 1884. THOMAS DAVID DONOVAN / ODONOVAN/DONOVIEL 1824-1931 m. Maragarette / Margaret CANTS / COUTZ b. 1824. Both are from St. George East London JOESPH JAMES DAVID DONOVAN / ODONOVAN / DONOVIEL 1849/50- 1899 m. Julia Mary Agnes JACKSON b.1848. Joseph is fron St. George East and Julia is from Whichaple London. Children are: Thomas, Juleta Francis, Julia, John Joseph, Stephen Daniel, Ida Ellen (my grandmother) Sarah Ann, David J., Margaret Caroline. All children born in London area by 1885. Have no idea why they used three versions of last name. Ida Ellen used Donoviel as did a couple of the others. All were born in England and came to Utah.
