I am looking for a Bernard Donovan who came to the US circa 1850, into the east coast (NY?) with a brother named Thomas. Bernard married a Mary Ann Mackin, of Schenectady, NY. He worked on the railroad going west. He died in Creston, IA in the late 1800s. Bernard had many children including Joseph, my ancestor and a Thomas who was a cigar maker. Anyone have any news on this family? Thanks...Paul W.
